Morton Gould 1913-1996
Was known mainly for his popular music before Agnes DeMille chose him to write, “Fall River Legend”. He was an excellent orchestrator and a versatile composer. He used Schoenberg's twelve tone technique in his “Jekyll and Hyde Variations”
