Hi, my name is Adam, and I have been studying ballet for about 5 years. I am an artist by nature and so watching a beautifully executed dance move whether it's ballet, jazz, tango, or flamenco move, is like enjoyingg a master work of art, or a lovely classical score. Ballet, Tango, Jazz, & Flamenco are like my secret mistresses that bring out a unique passion! I study a lot about ballet- I regret I never got to personally watch any performances by such luminaries as Eric Bruhn, Nureyev, Baryshnikov, or the other famous male dancers, but just going to see the today's performers are as wonderful as any in the past. I was very impressed with Sylvie's production of Giselle for an Italian Company few years ago at the Orange county Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa California. Sylvie was kind enough to pose for a photo of me with her. Too bad the photo got lost! I regret that I have never watched Sylvie's performance in person, maybe one day when I have enough money I will see her in London or Europe! I always enjoy watching Sylvie's wonderful, lines, execution and over all performance in video tapings, and her lovely face makes it all the better. Hopefully, one day when Sylvie is performing in the Los Angeles area, I will have the pleasure of watching her. I hope, also to have the money and opportunity to visit the St Petersburg Academy in Russia one day as well as the Maryinsky Theatre. P.S. about 10 years ago, I got to meet and take a photo with the director of Vaganova academy Altynai Assylmuratova when she was a principal dancer. Anyway, I hope to get to see Sylvie perform soon!
